(English) In honor of Black History Month Food Empowerment Project is working on a new cultural recipe site, Vegan Soul Food! We’re calling all vegan home chefs from the African diaspora to contribute to this food site that will be released later this year!

With delicious recipes from Chinese chefs and home cooks, there is even more to celebrate as we begin the Year of the Dragon. (English) Throughout January, Food Empowerment Project shared stories from our team and supporters from different ages and backgrounds about why commission is their leading reason for going and staying vegan for the animals! Watch the videos here!

(English) Gas and power company Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) is requesting to use ratepayer money to cover Merced Dairy Biomethane Pilot Project overspending. We know that animal-based dairy is bad for the animals, local communities, the environment, and is a major driver of the pollution that causes climate change. We need you to speak out and say NO to this misguided plan that means everyone will pay: the animals, communities, the environment, and you!
