Vegan “Fish” Instructions:

  1. Heat oil into a pan on a temperature hot enough to fry.
  2. In one bowl, add the chickpea flour, oat milk, ½ cup crumbled nori, celery salt, paprika, red pepper flakes, pepper, garlic powder, and mix thoroughly.
  3. In another bowl, add all bread crumbs, the rest of the crumbled nori, and optional salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Place each heart of palm on a flat surface and gently flatten with a fork.
  5. Dip each heart of palm generously into flour mixture and then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place each heart of palm into oil to fry until crispy golden brown, this usually takes 3 minutes with oil on medium heat. Flip so that both sides are crispy golden brown. Then place each on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Place the vegan “fish” (multiple if desired) inside of a tortilla. (Heat tortilla on pan if desired)

Vegan Slaw Instructions:

  1. Mix chopped cabbage with vegan mayonnaise.
  2. Add brown sugar or agave and lemon juice to the mixture with optional added salt and pepper to taste and mix thoroughly.
  3. Place the desired amount of slaw in each tortilla.
  4. Serve!
