Ingredients:

1 cup unrefined cane sugar
½ cup non dairy margarine
2 Tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking soda
4 quarts (16 cups) popped popcorn

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except popcorn in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil on medium heat and cook 2-3 minutes, until the color starts to darken.
  3. Remove from heat and add to bowl with the popcorn.
  4. Use a mixing spoon to stir and evenly coat the popcorn.
