Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup agave or maple syrup
  • 1 chamomile tea bag
  • 1 shaving of orange peel
  • squeeze of lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Steep the tea bag in ⅛ cup of boiling water. Let sit for five minutes. Remove the tea bag.
  2. Add the agave/maple syrup to a saucepan and add the brewed chamomile tea
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the sauce pan and let simmer for five-ten minutes. Keep the heat low.
  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool for ten minutes. Store in the fridge in an airtight jar or container for up to a month. Storing in the fridge will allow it to become a thicker consistency!
  5. Use to sweeten beverages like tea or drizzle as a topping on toast and yogurt bowls!

Notes: Use light agave nectar or maple syrup for the best flavor!
