Food Empowerment Project (F.E.P.) is calling on all youth to be a part of a zine we are launching called “Envision”!
Overview
This youth zine is created for youth and by youth as a form of expression to release energy and grow hope! Youth hold the power to make change but need cathartic spaces to re-energize themselves to envision a society they are proud of. This youth zine is designed for all young people that want to learn and strengthen their advocacy for the rights of human and nonhuman animals alike.
Together, we can build tools that end exploitative systems, share stories that leave us inspired, and form long-lasting creations that empower us all. F.E.P. is calling all youth to be a part of this zine experience and share numerous forms of creative content.
Zine Call Out
Zine submissions are open to all youth 10 to 25 years old.
Age Groups
We are asking for vegan recipes (snacks and simple dishes with fewer than five ingredients), artwork, poems, short stories, photographs that show nature, nonhuman animals, or advocacy, and personal accomplishments that young people have made in the vegan and social justice space.
Submissions are now closed, thank you. If you have any questions please contact F.E.P.’s Youth Advocacy Team Member, Kennedy, here.
