Welcome to Camp FFTO (Fight for the Ocean)!

At Camp FFTO, our mission is to inspire care and action for our ocean, all while building a supportive and inclusive community. Camp FFTO is a virtual summer camp dedicated to creating a more just and compassionate world for marine life.

Throughout the summer solstice (June 20 through September 22), you’ll have the chance to tune into inspiring events, participate in days of action, gain knowledge about marine ecosystems, learn how to take action for marine life, and enjoy a variety of engaging activities—all from the comfort of your own home. Get ready to learn, connect, and make a positive splash for our oceans!

We promise not to keep you with a long introduction—we know you’re eager to dive in! Here are just a few important things to know before you register:

  • Virtual Camp: Camp FFTO is completely virtual, so you can participate from anywhere!

  • Flexible Participation: We know everyone has a busy life. All activities are optional. You get to choose what works best for you, whether that’s joining group sessions or exploring activities on your own.

  • Privacy: Any information you share with us during the registration process is kept strictly confidential and is only viewed by the Food Empowerment Project Collective.

  • Free & Fun: Camp FFTO is free to join and is designed to be a fun, engaging way to take action for our ocean.

  • Inclusivity & Safety: We are committed to making this camp a welcoming space for everyone. Food Empowerment Project stands firmly against homophobia, transphobia, sexism, classism, racism, xenophobia, and all additional forms of discrimination. We’ll do everything in our power to create a safe, respectful environment for all participants.
